Scrappers Delights New Release "Charlie and Jill"

Today it's challenge time by Scrapper's Delights :)

Now it is time to cook with Charlie and Jill :) You can choose your image, what you like and you can combine with a background kitchen...

Which digital stamp do you prefer? I used the lady with the mixing tool and the background and made this card.

I also colored the image with my favorite color medium, the Prismacolorpencils... I add a few plants into the kitchen... for the floor I decided me for a wooden one...

On the weekend where I made this card a baked a cake... Maybe you have fun to bake one for you, so I will share my lovely recipe with you :)

the cakes name is "Joghurtkuchen" it is German and means it is a Yogurt Cake....

  2. grease the backing pan, use for this step butter/ oil, what you prefer
  3. use your electric mixing bowl: add 100g Butter & 175g sugar, mix till the sugar is dissolved
  4. after than add 2 eggs (one by one), 1/2 teaspoon vanilla mark and one pinch salt
  5. in a separat bowl mix 250g flower & 2 teaspoon baking powder
  6. now you need 150g Yogurt (nature/ your favorite)
  7. add the flower and the Yogurt alternately to the butter mass , mix till the dough will be smooth
  8. fill the dough to the backing pan
  9. back it, into the preheat oven for 35-40 minutes
  10. use a wooden rod to check the cake, if he is finish, there will be no dough on the rod, maybe in your oven will be faster or slower (in the house it smells delicious), if the cake finish use protection for your hands, please do no hurt yourself, the backing pan will be very hot!
  11. let the cake cool for min. 5 minutes (CAVE! it will be very hot!), after than take the cake carefully out of the backing pan and let them completely cooling down... (use helping tools)
  12. if you want you can made a frosting... you will need 150g powder sugar/ icing sugar and 3-4 tablespoons citron juice. Mix both in a small mixing bowl, if the icing is smooth you can add it with a baking brush to the cake... If you don't like this icing, use your own one :)
